Two gorgeous little girls + two awesome & laid back parents = one fun family session!
I met mom at our girls’ ballet class, and we spend those 6 or so weeks chatting while our girls goofed did pliés and chassés, or as little M would say: “sashay”
I was thrilled when she asked me to capture her family! I got to meet her sweet 19 month old daughter as well. Like my second child, she is determined and has a mind of her own, and not so much a fan of sitting still, which was perfectly fine with me. I like to document children as they are – free spirited, inquisitive and fun.
C & S – Thanks for sharing your beautiful girls with me. I hope yo enjoy your peek.

I had the pleasure of meeting the L family today. What a beautiful family. I have to start with the big sister. R is mommy’s helper, stunning, and so polite. Her new brothers are lucky to have a great big sis like her!
The boys are 18 days old, and as most twins, did the opposite of the other. When one slept the other was wide awake. They made me work for those together shots, but they are as cute as can be.
L family – thank you for having me over! I had fun photographing your precious children.

I love my job because I get to meet so many wonderful families. The “C” family is no exception. They grew from a family of 2 to 5 in less than 2 years. Each child bringing his/her own miracle story. I am so glad I could fit them in at short notice, considering their precious newborn is 3 weeks old, making her my oldest newborn to date. She did great even though she was just not happy with me moving her while she was peacefully trying to get some sleep, making posing her a challenge. We still managed to get lots of cute shots. Look at her her cute smile, her perfect little mouth, and her adorable cheek-in-the-making.
Her older siblings are just as precious. Her two year old brother greeted me at the door, showing me his big bright smile, his shirt, his shoes, and his great personality. What a charmer! Nine year old sister was attentive and quiet, and had a gorgeous bright smile of her own. It was truly a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with them.
C family – thanks for welcoming me into your home! I hope you enjoy your peek. Lots more to come…

Where so I begin with these three? Their mom is like my sister. I was in the hospital when they were born, 6.5 and 4.5 years ago. I love them like they are my own nieces and nephew. I will never tire from taking their photos, talking to them and playing with them. They are just a fun bunch to be around…and sooooo beautiful!
Mom is not reading because she wants to get to the photos, so I won’t delay

I am thrilled to work with B and her family to capture this precious time in their lives, as they move from a family of three to four! Baby girl is due any day now, so mom was a true trooper for getting the session done this late. She looks stunning! I also had the pleasure of meeting dad, and their doll baby girl, M who’s two and half. She’s going to be a great big sister as she’s already lavishing her mom’s belly with kisses and hugs. You can really see the love in this family, and it was an honor for me to be part of it. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect winner for my maternity fair give-away.
If you attended St Joseph East’s maternity fair, please just mention this post when booking a session, and you’ll receive a free 8×10 of your choice, not to be combined with any other offer.
D family – it was a pleasure meeting you, and I can’t wait to meet your new princess! Here are a few images from our session:

I had the pleasure of photographing three beautiful children yesterday. It was a perfect day for a garden session. I was so impressed with them. The eldest was a natural poser, and middle one pretended to be shy, but gave adorable looks, that I know her parents will look back at years from now, and totally remember her personality. Baby boy was as content and happy as can be. He loved tasting all the dirt and leaves, but hey, that’s what most 9 month old babies do! To top it all off, they were dressed in the most adorable outfits, completely coordinated in color and style…big kudos to mom!
A – I really enjoyed meeting you and your children. Hope we get to do this again soon! I had a hard time picking photos for the preview…so there might be just a few more in your gallery than you’ll expect!

I just love the sun flare in this one:

I got to spend a fun Sunday afternoon with 6 year old J. It was a fun session as he showed me his swing set, his bike, his scooter, his dog, Spike, and all his funny faces! He even managed a serious face for a couple of shots! What a character.
J – thanks for inviting me to your home! I hope you love your preview…I had to add a jump one especially for J

What a gorgeous day it was to have the mini sessions…and the tulips were in full bloom!
Here are some of my favorites from Friday’s sessions:
You’ve seen those cuties before on my blog before, and they just keep on getting cuter, faster, and so expressive:

This beauty is 9 months old, and she was all smiles…for daddy! I just love her hair & those long lashes!

I had the pleasure of visiting friends and taking photos of their adorable children today. Big sis was one of the first kids to grace this blog, see her at two here. She has grown so much, and definitely has a sense of style…she had more accessories on than me, her mom and her grandma, AND it was all very well put together! She is such a great helper, and a wonderful big sis to a 5-month old baby brother. Baby N was all smiles, and was content just being close to his sister! They are going to be a close pair. They both have amazing eyes, and eyelashes to die for!
Mom & Dad, Grandma & grandpa, hope you enjoy your preview:

I first met B & K late last summer when I did their 8 month old photos. I was delighted to get to spend a late morning with them again. And oh how they have grown! B is already walking, and is an absolute charmer! Look out ladies – it will be hard to resist those baby blues! K is more reserved and you can tell she’ll be a girly girl, with her ballerina posture, her adorable reddish hair, and a set of irresistible baby blues of her own! I had fun playing and dancing with these two!
A & T – Hope you love those…and thanks for welcoming me into your perfectly decorated home!
