I had a fun play date with one year old ‘M’ yesterday. She had her own agenda, and already know what she likes and what she doesn’t. She’s a total climber, and a crawling machine! She does the cutest head shake while she’s crawling to let us know she’s going “faster”. It was so much fun playing “I am gonna get you” with her. She’s just too cute. I could have photographed her all day!
A special shout out to her two cousins who came out to entertain her and help their aunt. So sweet <3
J – It was great to finally meet you! Your daughter and nieces are beautiful. Thanks for making the trip from Mt Sterling to see me.

I met the “L” family last year, when I captured their brand new twin boys. The boys are adorable, and have their own interests and personalities. One is a bit shy and walking all over the place (usually sprinting to hang on to mom), one is a more outgoing and was totally up for playing games with me. One sure thing in common – they are both SO adorable.
Big sister, R, just grows prettier, smarter, and taller. I think by next year, she’ll be my height. I seriously needed to have a step stool for some of my shots with her. She’s also full of ideas, and I loved chatting with her, girl to girl 
R – you make your parents very proud. Keep it up!
C & E – Thanks for having me over. Your children are so much fun to be around. I hope J is feeling better!

I wanted to start with a quick announcement about fall/holiday sessions. I will be out of the ‘office’, and out of the country, from September 24 until October 9. I’ve been planning a big post for awhile, but it just keeps getting pushed down in the priority list. So, if you are thinking about a session for this fall/holiday, please use the contact form or email me as soon as possible. I have only *ONE* weekend day left in October and only 3 available sessions left.
Now that we have that out of the way…on with the regularly planned sneak
I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing beautiful 7 month old baby ‘A’. I just love this age!!! She’s probably the happiest baby I had met, and made my job so easy. It was another hot day in the bluegrass. She did not seem to mind at all, and we managed a few outfit changes, and one location change. She just went with the flow, grinning, smiling and cooing. She’s one lucky girl to have such loving parents & family. Special thanks to her great aunt and uncle for welcoming me to their beautiful home.

Big brother ‘C’ is a serious 4 year old, who is full of imagination, information, and character! I had lots of fun as he showed around his farm, introduced me to his pony and horses, told me about his cousins, spiders, dinosaurs, spiders, transformers, spiders, star wars, dragons, and spiders. Did I say spiders
2 month ‘G’ was not feeling too good – poor baby! He did great, despite that – but I know his parents are used to bigger smiles, and less serious looks. I love chubby babies and he was no exception – just too precious and cute.

I can’t believe how fast a year can go by! I first met precious ‘R’ when she was barely a week old, and she’s is just as cute as ever. She’s full of personality & charm, and had us all oohing and aahing over her peek-a-boo game, her adorable smiles, and her cute little “talk”. She’s just too precious for words. I couldn’t get enough of her!

Two month old baby ‘W’ is happy, content, and so cute! I just love her cheeks, and her double chin! We played a bit, read a book, and then it was snuggle time with her mommy, and off to sleep land she went! So precious.

Adorable baby ‘M’ is almost 3 months old, and is as cute as can be. He already has a beautiful singing voice, and after 40 minutes of playing, feeding, and changing he had the right idea of just lounging in the fresh breeze for a nap! The session could go any better – we dodged the rain, we got to see his adorable smile, his cute expressions, and his peaceful sleep. His parents and I couldn’t help but stand there and watch him for a while – so beautiful. His parents are already in love and smitten – and I don’t blame them

It’s so easy to see the love and respect in this family. The kids were full of personality, charm and manners…and SO beautiful too! I could photograph them all day – it was just so much fun.

I rarely share the full session slide show on the blog – mostly because I’m not the most organized person, and I end up running out of time 
So here’s one for you to enjoy…with the very awesome “B” family. Their love and connection is so strong, it’s hard to miss in the images. We always have fun at sessions – that’s my goal, because it results in genuine, happy photos, that really represent your child and family. I love it when seeing the images, takes you back to session time. It’s one thing when this happens a month after the session, it’s extra special when it happens years from it.

Any parent can tell you, just how fast that first year goes by! So many milestones to celebrate, from smiling, sitting, crawling, walking, first tooth, first word, first laugh, first birthday! It’s does not slow down after that, and it’s just as fun to watch babies grow into toddler, preschoolers, and kids
This was my third time meeting with beautiful E (see her in the header slide show above), and her first time at the park. She was fascinated by all the kids, waving and saying “hi” to everyone, and by the big trees, looking up and saying “wow”. She’s just too cute. It’s safe to say, that the cupcake at the end of the session was her favorite part. I don’t blame her – it was yummy!
