I had the pleasure of meeting T & D this past weekend. They are new to the area, and expecting their first son in November. I hope I introduced them to a few new places where they can hang out here in Lexington. The rain held off while we walked around a couple of blocks in beautiful downtown. I just love this area: quiet, colorful, rich in textures creating awesome backdrops! Mom-to-be is so gorgeous! I can’t wait to meet their baby in a couple of months.
T & D – It’s great meeting you! I hope you enjoyed your session

I love doing sessions for all my clients, but being asked by friends and family (and extended family) is just an added honor for me. It shows how supportive they are of what I do, and fully trust my vision in capturing their families, their bonds, and their precious little ones.
I first met my “niece in-law”, Baby M 7 months ago, and it seems just like yesterday. I am lucky that I get to see her whenever we visit Louisville, but it still amazes me how much she’s grown, and how different and similar she is to that 6 day old beauty.
Just this week, she went from a stationary baby to super-fast mobile one, and 2 teeth broke through. Needless to say, mom can not take any more milestones! Thankfully she did not utter her first word at the session (although I suspect she wanted to say “enough” a few times). I just love all her red hair, and can’t wait to see if it will be curly as she grows.
Matt & Kelly – thanks for driving all the way to Lexington, and spending the day with us! You should do it more often
Thanks for sharing M with me…she’s a doll.

I had the pleasure of meeting the L family today. What a beautiful family. I have to start with the big sister. R is mommy’s helper, stunning, and so polite. Her new brothers are lucky to have a great big sis like her!
The boys are 18 days old, and as most twins, did the opposite of the other. When one slept the other was wide awake. They made me work for those together shots, but they are as cute as can be.
L family – thank you for having me over! I had fun photographing your precious children.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, and I am just barely catching up before the next storm sweeps by. I am heading into my busy season, and my September is fully booked. So if you are thinking of fall/holiday session, now is the time to book. Holiday order deadline is November 20, last session for holiday delivery is November 8.

2. You’ve asked for it – so here it is. A full digital package with every single edited image on DVD with reprint rights, so you can print as many copies as you want. It comes with easy to follow instructions, and lab suggestions. Priced at $950, it’s over $350 saving from a la carte prices. This comes in a gorgeous custom designed photo CD case like the one below:

3. A step down from the above, is the mini digital package, for $350, that includes 12 of your favorite images in high resolution with the rights to reprint. Also comes in the same custom designed photo CD case.

In less than a month, this family is welcoming a new member. If baby girl is anything like her big sisters, she’ll be cute, beautiful and full of personality. Mom looks amazing, and is in great shape (I wish I was in half that shape!!!). I had a fun time capturing this loving family, who even included their furry friends in a couple of shots.
“G” Family – It’s always special to meet my friends’ friends
Thanks for being good sports and going along with my crazy ideas. Your girls are just adorable, and I can’t wait to meet #3! Hope you love your peek…

I love my job because I get to meet so many wonderful families. The “C” family is no exception. They grew from a family of 2 to 5 in less than 2 years. Each child bringing his/her own miracle story. I am so glad I could fit them in at short notice, considering their precious newborn is 3 weeks old, making her my oldest newborn to date. She did great even though she was just not happy with me moving her while she was peacefully trying to get some sleep, making posing her a challenge. We still managed to get lots of cute shots. Look at her her cute smile, her perfect little mouth, and her adorable cheek-in-the-making.
Her older siblings are just as precious. Her two year old brother greeted me at the door, showing me his big bright smile, his shirt, his shoes, and his great personality. What a charmer! Nine year old sister was attentive and quiet, and had a gorgeous bright smile of her own. It was truly a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with them.
C family – thanks for welcoming me into your home! I hope you enjoy your peek. Lots more to come…
