I am thrilled to work with B and her family to capture this precious time in their lives, as they move from a family of three to four! Baby girl is due any day now, so mom was a true trooper for getting the session done this late. She looks stunning! I also had the pleasure of meeting dad, and their doll baby girl, M who’s two and half. She’s going to be a great big sister as she’s already lavishing her mom’s belly with kisses and hugs. You can really see the love in this family, and it was an honor for me to be part of it. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect winner for my maternity fair give-away.
If you attended St Joseph East’s maternity fair, please just mention this post when booking a session, and you’ll receive a free 8×10 of your choice, not to be combined with any other offer.
D family – it was a pleasure meeting you, and I can’t wait to meet your new princess! Here are a few images from our session:

I had the pleasure of photographing three beautiful children yesterday. It was a perfect day for a garden session. I was so impressed with them. The eldest was a natural poser, and middle one pretended to be shy, but gave adorable looks, that I know her parents will look back at years from now, and totally remember her personality. Baby boy was as content and happy as can be. He loved tasting all the dirt and leaves, but hey, that’s what most 9 month old babies do! To top it all off, they were dressed in the most adorable outfits, completely coordinated in color and style…big kudos to mom!
A – I really enjoyed meeting you and your children. Hope we get to do this again soon! I had a hard time picking photos for the preview…so there might be just a few more in your gallery than you’ll expect!

I just love the sun flare in this one:

I got to spend a fun Sunday afternoon with 6 year old J. It was a fun session as he showed me his swing set, his bike, his scooter, his dog, Spike, and all his funny faces! He even managed a serious face for a couple of shots! What a character.
J – thanks for inviting me to your home! I hope you love your preview…I had to add a jump one especially for J

My nephew is here! I am so excited for my sister and my brother-in-law. I know they will be awesome parents, and have already assumed great roles in 10 short days. Baby Z was born on Derby, just like his cousin who I photographer last year. They must be starting a family tradition, and I can already foresee all the trouble fun they will have in 15 or so years, especially since they live in Louisville.
My sister’s birth was an amazing experience. I was totally exhausted by the end of it, and I did not even DO anything. She’s resilient, brave and a true hero. I don’t cry. But I did. And then again when I edited her birth photos. And I will every time I look at them. I love you Tara!!!!!!!
Tara & Dan – Congratulations and thanks for adding one more cousin for my girls.
Here’s a preview of a few photos I took of my beloved nephew. Isn’t he just adorable?
